Your invisible fence, connected to your phone. Monitor battery life, adjust training levels, track activity, and use it as a remote trainer—all from an app.
LINK connects via Bluetooth. Remote trainer features work within Bluetooth range (typically 30–50 ft).
LINK is an optional upgrade—your invisible fence works perfectly without it. Here’s who benefits most from adding smart features.
That’s completely fine. Our standard EcoLite receiver is an excellent choice on its own.
We believe in being upfront. Here’s exactly what you can expect from LINK—no surprises.
The EcoLite™ Link receiver isn’t just smart—it’s the smallest and lightest professional-grade receiver in the industry. Perfect for dogs of all sizes.
Smart features should solve real problems. Here’s how LINK makes day-to-day life with your invisible fence easier.
See exact battery percentage before your dog goes out. Get low-battery alerts with days of lead time—you’ll never be caught off guard.
View a log of boundary warnings and corrections by day, week, or month. Spot patterns over time.
Adjust correction levels right from your phone. Make small changes without scheduling a visit.
Use the same collar for off-property training—tone or any of 13 correction levels from your phone, within Bluetooth range.
Toggle an LED on the collar to track your dog in the yard after dark.
Everyone in the household can have the LINK app. One person connects at a time (like any Bluetooth device), but anyone can monitor and adjust.
The LINK app’s remote trainer sends commands via Bluetooth. Typical range is 30–50 feet, depending on your phone, obstacles, and environment. This means:
✓ Works in the yard, inside the house, and on walks—whenever you’re near your dog.
✓ Works through typical walls—you can use it from inside while your dog is in the backyard.
✕ Does not work from across town. This isn’t a cellular or GPS system—you need to be within Bluetooth range of your dog.
The remote trainer gives you 13 correction levels plus audible warnings—the same range of options available in the boundary system, but controlled from your phone for on-the-spot training.
Know your fence is working—even when you’re not home.
Available with the OT-300 LINK Transmitter (included in our premium package with battery backup)
Get push notifications when the collar battery is running low—with enough lead time to charge before it matters.
If the boundary wire is damaged, you’ll know immediately via push notification—even if you’re at work.
Know if the transmitter loses power so you’re never caught unaware. (Battery backup keeps the fence running.)
The system runs regular checks to confirm everything is working. If anything’s wrong, you’ll know—even when you’re away.
LINK gives you convenient access to the settings you need—while keeping the more complex programming safe with your dealer.
Know your collar is working—every single time.
The Diagnostic Charging Station Plus doesn’t just charge—it runs a 7-point test every charge cycle to verify the collar is functioning properly. This takes about 10 seconds.
Green light = good to go. If anything’s wrong, you’ll know before putting the collar on your dog.
This answers the fear every dog owner has: “What if the collar fails quietly?” It won’t. The charger catches problems before your dog goes outside.
When you add LINK to your system, here’s what you get.
Have more than one dog? The LINK app lets you manage multiple collars with completely independent settings for each pet.
Your gentle senior gets ultra-low correction levels while your stubborn adolescent gets firmer boundaries—all controlled from the same app. Switch between dogs instantly with photos for easy identification.
Add new dogs anytime. Remove dogs that have passed. The system grows with your family.
We believe in being upfront about what’s covered—no fine print surprises.
The Ecolite Link Receiver is covered by Pet Stop’s UltraCare warranty—covering failing or damaged equipment.
Deductible: 20% of the original sale price of the covered equipment.
Transferable: The warranty is tied to the equipment and transfers to new owners.
If the system can’t contain your dog within 12 months—and you’ve followed the training plan and worked with us on adjustments—we’ll make it right.
Conditions apply: training must be followed, and you need to reach out if issues arise so we can try different settings.
LINK is a tool that makes your invisible fence smarter—but the foundation is always training. We use GentleSteps™ training, which focuses on teaching your dog to respect boundaries through positive reinforcement and gradual exposure. The goal is that most dogs respond to warning cues, not correction.
For your dog’s comfort, collars should be removed daily (including at night) to prevent irritation. We’ll cover all of this during your training orientation.
The LINK app gives you visibility and control, but you’re never on your own. Dog Fence Ontario is always just a call or text away.
Questions about settings? Not sure what level to use? Call us anytime—it’s always free.
For settings beyond what you can change in the app, we can often help over the phone—no service visit needed.
Adding LINK to a new installation or upgrading an existing Pet Stop system is straightforward.
